"Changed"

-This is a poem i wrote two years ago. 


I used to live life where i only thought about "I's"
then got a little bit depressed and started asking "God why?"
started cutting, and made excuses with these little white lies
thought "this world is surely crazy" wanted to give it up and die.
not a lie- then i met this man that spoke into my life.
brought with him the word of Christ- and yes He took away my pride
No longer hide. this gift inside of me is waiting for a chance to shine.
 i let it fly, now bringing other kids to live the Christian Life

    changed like taxes....my past doesn't register.......turning on the things adding fear to my character...looking at me now all you see is a replica....of things i use to be...all the pain that i would see...
