Last night was Faith Christian Center's Back-2-school bash and it was amazing!! Group1Crew performed songs from their newest album, while my friends and i were dancing and singing along in the crowd. It was awesome just being able to do me and praise God how i praise God, with everyone around me doing the same.Our youth group is just amazing. I'm glad i can say i'm a part of #TeamLifted :)
I really love the atmosphere of FCC. I don't want to put my former church down, but ever since i became a member of FCC, i have grown extremely closer to God. The youth have embraced me as if i had been a member my whole life and i love it! I plan on joining a lot of the same ministries i was a part of at my last church: nursery, bible study, praise and worship, and outreach. Of course, i won't be limited to just those few ministries listed. If something catches my eye, i'm sure i will check it out. ?I just love being there. I don't know everyone, but the group of people i do know are so on fire for Christ, and they encourage me to stay on fire for Christ. That's all i need. No need for more than that.
I can see a lot of great things happening in the future as I grow more and more in my new faith familly. Please pray for our pastors, and youth leaders. May God give them the wisdom, authority, and vision to lead us into a new level in our faith. In Jesus' name, amen.
